steering cable for 1989 sabre

Can anybody tell me what length steering cables work on a 1989 sabre and if you have any. one is frozen and the other is getting tight. thanks goat

Not from memory… The Parts department or someone inside would be able to help. The 88 and 89 models were the same version. It may be listed on the Parts Site above. BCB

Dont know the length of yours but I have one good 13 cable from a 95 PII if you need it.

thanks alabass but a 95 wont work has to be a 94 or older thanks anyway. lot of money for a set for a disabled man on ss.

I have a 1985 pantera pro, I have the 13 cable on mine and one is froze up, is yours a drum style cable or from a rack steering.

You will need to replace both cables and helm to repair properly, and to be safe. Contact parts(870-481-5135) and they wil “steer” you in the right direction ! D.
