Steering Problem

06 Puma with 08 250 Pro XS…………Going down the lake wide open with the motor trimmed, when you turn left you can feel the steering pop like it is stripped. If I trim it down, it feels ok. It is not over trimmed….I know how to drive my boat….it is a NEW problem. Anyone had this problem??Shawn

Sounds like it may have a helm slave pump, or air and check valve issue. We are not sure where your best dealership option is with enough skill set to tech this one? Someone may need to experience this to move ahead on the repair.

Then Mare in either VA or MD can definitely help. This is probably air, though you want to be sure. Aquia is easy in and out.
