Excess trim can increase torque, and cause torque if your really close. You would notice torque reducing to tolerable ranges, then if you tuck it down a few bumps it settles, then your close. Those that are too high have a lot of torque and that is strictly engine height. Today we have GPS and you can make a 3-4 mile run and tweak it up and down, bumping the trim around till you figure that part out.
