Whats the best way to remove the broken rivets from the hinge on the right?

How do you select the drill bit size? Im assuming you dont want to increase the size of the hole?

You can drill it out with a 1/8 drill bit then add new one.

Yep. A bit that is just barely bigger than the hole in that busted rivet is usually all it takes to break the rivet apart and it will fall out of the hole.

I could get the diameter and length from one of them, right? Not sure what you meant by backer? (computer nerd here)

I guess it can be as big a deal as anyone wants to make it. Drill em out without wollering out the fiberglass, drop the new ones in, push down hard on the rivet gun and pop em in place. No big deal at all just take your time drilling the old ones out.

If you have a rivet gun and drill its nothing to it. Just get a drill bit a tad bigger than hole in rivet and drill out the old rivet and then put new one in.
