I installed a new stereo in my BayCat last night. After hooking up the speaker wires and the three power wires (ground, 12v, and remote wire) the stereo played fine. When I went to turn off the Acc.1 switch which the stereo is hooked to the stereo wouldnt cut off, when I turned the master power switch off the stereo wouldnt cut off, and my VHF started flashing off and on as did the Acc 1 light in the switch. The VHF is also hooked to the Acc. 1 switch. The stereo I pulled out was hooked up the exact same way, I used the same ground, 12v, and remote wire. I plan on double checking everything this afternoon, but was curious if anyone had ever experienced this before, or know whats going on?
