Ive got a 2013 Cougar Adv and am wanting to add a stereo. Im leaning towards getting a regular stereo with i-pod jack and mounting it in a dry case (suggestion of the my marina). My question is where should I mount it? I would prefer to avoid cutting a hole in the console so I was thinking about putting it in the drivers side rod locker, the center storage box (not the front one) or under the dash. As you know I have plenty of room in either storage box (unless you are a committed tackle junky these Bass Cats have tons of extra room). I would like to find a unit with a remote so I can keep the unit out of sight. Do you guys have any suggestions on where to mount it and any particular model of stereo that you like?
