Stern Light Base

Dont drill through them but use a larger bit than the rivet head and just slowly drill down on the head until it is loose or comes off. Then use a punch to tap the body of the rivet down into the bilge area. Put a towel or something in the bilge to catch them. It should just be installing new rivets from there. I think BCB says that these are rivets that you should purchase from them because they are not normal rivets. I would call Allen and ask him about that.This is a great opportunity for you to tighten up the spring that keeps tension on the rotating keeper. If it is loose then just bend the spring to get more tension on it.
