Still loading too deep?

I have my partner dunk the trailer to soak the bunks, then pull out ( like BCB said) until the first few inches of the outer bunks are out of the water. I slowly cruise up to the trailer and the boat will straighten and settle in the bunks. Then throttle up till the bow eye makes contact. If the bunks are dry it takes too much of a push to get there. If it wont push all the way up – I have the driver back up a little while I throttle up. Its better to be too shallow as too deep.

I do like what BCB and jstew said. Back up till outer bunks are submerged then pull forward till they are just above water level. (or at water level if shallow angle).I coast into the trailer and let it settle. Then I look at the motor and make sure it is pointing straight ahead and tilted slightly. I tilt it slightly so the front of boat will go up fairly level. Dont want to tilt it too much and do a hole shot on the trailer, lol. The boat hits the roller and actually pushes the trailer forward a little. Probably the actuator for the brakes are going in some.
