I need a dash mount for my 08 cougar ae. Currently have a dash HB 788 and am looking to mount my Onix 8Ive been waiting for 2.5 months for a Sherms mount but as of last week hasnt started making it yet. Is he usually this late with product deadlines? I know hes a busy guy but I dont know how much longer I can wait for my electronics Any other suggestions on another mount or company to custom build one? BCB Added: Folks, most of us never read comments about graphs mounts at the factory. On this one we wish we had read it sooner. Sherm built the mounts for his customer and personal use as an option and they are time consuming. Its just a doodad he thought would be nice when mounts out there were not where they are now. The recent turn to larger graphs left many in a lurch as to what options they have on upgrading, thus Sherm offered this for his customers and it grew some to where he began getting demand for the mounts. It really was not the intent or him and he got inundated. Sherm is having a tough year this year with a staff member moving to another field, and he is doing most of the shop work that man once had. His intent is to hire another technician, though thats the #1 most needed thing in our industry now. No one seems to have enough technicians that they can depend on to do it right. Many do graduate from the technical schools, though are fundamentally unqualified to stand alone without intense supervision. Presently we have at least 6 dealerships now looking for technicians. Most try to start a youngster and they seldom last through to get into engine schools, thus after about 6 months they restart and hire another youngster, then the process starts over.
