STIP, what prop are you running on your Caracal??

Running a V Max SHO 25. Its about to get sent off and have some work done on it. Running solo I can turn 5900 RPM and a click under 76 mph. Load a partner and his gear can only get 5700 RPM. Hoping a B&B and maybe some other tweaks will help reach 6000 RPM with partner.

Stip:Do you have a Hydraulic jackplate? If you do, at what height do you get the most speed with the 25T1? I cant get 5900 RPM ever, and 5700 is the MAX I can get. Wondering if I run it too low.

I dont have a hydraulic plate. After break in I brought the plate up. Still think it could come up some more as Im having to trim up to about 3/4 all the way up while running. Ill have to pull the transducer shield and drill more holes to be able to go any higher though.

Really wondering mine is flush and I hit 70 at 5400 rpm with NO rooster tail to speak off?

I dont have a prop to pad measurement. The plate is sitting 3/4″ above flush. Only time Ill have a rooster tail is before the nose lifts. Once you get the air packed up under, trimming up will just keep bringing the nose up. Like Ive said I still think I could come up a little more but have to pull the transducer saver off and drill and tap some new holes.
