Storage Compartment Lights

I am having a tough time keeping the lights working in the front two storage boxes on my 07 Puma. It is a grounding problem. I continue to tighten the screws that the ground wire goes to. They will work for a trip or two and quit again. The screws are going to twist off if I keep tightening them. The front two boxes are the only ones giving me problems. The ground as you know is fastened to the screws and you may try some other connection. We are trying to erase the visual of wires in that setup. Though the grounds are an occasional maintenance in the swap off.

Sometimes there is a butt connector back under the lip. I had one wire pull out a little bit and was causing the lights to behave irradically. Judd Lasiter
