Does anyone have any idea how much it costs it is to clean the strainers on a 250 opti? I had a compressor overheat alarm go off on my smartcraft last weekend, the whizz hole was plugged with grass debris and it cooled down once iI got it unplugged but was warned that strainers could be obstructed as well. Am hoping this is not the case, they said that there are 2 strainers, one is not to bad but you have to pull the powerhead to get to the other one .
The in-line filter for the compressor was full of hydrilla. Mechanic said it is pretty common with the new Optis and that I should not run through the grass. He recommended to shut her down in clean water and roll in on the trolling motor.Will make shallow Potomac River flats very interesting
