I have just ordered my 1st Bass Cat(Puma Advantage Elite) and am trying to determine the best way to mount the Lowrance structure scan transducer. I appears that there is not a flat area on the step. Does anyone know where Bass Cat recommends mounting this?Thanks in advance.

Call Scap and Shirley at Transducer Shield and Saver, they will make you a mount that goes on the jackplate. Very secure and no holes in the boat. Mikehttp://www.transducershieldandsaver.com/home/

Thanks for the help. Can anyone tell me what model of jackplate on the 2011 Puma Advantage Elite so I can get the correct L bracket?

Heres a pic of mine(2011 Puma) mounted from the factory. Works very well mounted here.

Dont order offline, call the guy down there. He knows all the boats and when I wasnt sure of the exact model I needed all he had to ask was what brand and model of boat I have and he hooked me right up. Super nice dude.- Chaz

Thanks for the help. I ordered the L bracket and shield from Transducer Shield and Saver and had them ship it to my dealer. Now Im going through the very painful process of waiting for my new boat!!!

Mark, If your rig is being rigged by BCB then be sure they dont mount your SI transducer so you can use your new style bracket.
