does BassCat have a recommended motor height for different boats? if so what is the recommended height for an 03 cougar with 8″ jackplate running a 2003 250xs?
depends on largely what prop you settle with and how much load you carry in the boat. The height may vary an inch. Trophy props can run higher than a Fury.
What Phil is trying to tell you is that there isnt a set engine height. It varies from individual boat to boat, etc. It is something you are going to have to work out.
