So last fall I purchased MK330 battery charger and was planning on installing it in my 04 cougar over the winter. Well the ice is just starting to come off the area lakes, so I need to get moving on this. There is not a lot of space available in the bilge area for this large of a battery charger. So I was doing a little research on this site and the bbc and found some excellent ideas about building a bridge or platform across bilge area to mount the charger. But, after cleaning out the bilge area in preparation, I think it would be a little too crowded in that area to do that. Has anyone ever put a battery charger under the seat? It appears that I could drill a small hole under my passenger or drivers seat and run the wires back to the batteries. From inside the bilge area and looking back under the livewells and the seating area it looks like this area is open and I could easily run those wires. Has anyone ever done this or is there an reason “not” to do this that I am overlooking? Thanks for any input.Rob
