I did my 2000 Jaguar. It is not all that difficult, but it is time consuming. It took me more than 2.5 Hrs. It took me about 4 or 5 hours. I did it over the course of three days. There are a bunch of wires out of the back of that unit. Be certain that when you are making a wire to wire connection that it is done very well. If one is loose, or not well spliced, you will spend a good deal of time figuring out which wire is the one that is giving the problem and then replacing that splice…..and when theyre all spliced, and then one is not done well, theres not alot of room to replace the poor splice. The dash part of the converson is simple and looks fine. Its the wire to wire splicing that takes time. For me, I did it all while laying on my back in the floor of the boat. Thats alittle tiring. Its been awhile since I did it, but as best I can remember, it is not a color to color splice from the old wires to the new. Some align, color to color, but some dont. In other words, you might have a yellow and white existing wire spliced to a green and yellow new wire. Just go slow and go step by step by the BCB printed directions and you should not have a problem.
