Im thinking about doing this conversion to my 98 Jag. I am just wondering what to do about the Engine temp, oil temp, water temp. Also when the superdash is removed, does fiberglass work have to be done to fill the area where the superdash is removed?My superdash works, its just getting pretty worn.

No fiberglass work is needed. The BC parts website explains what functions youll lose when replacing the Super-Dash.You should have some room elsewhere on your dash panel(s) to add a few additional gauges.I also opted to add the ALARM option to my analog conversion for a few extra dollars.I dont miss any of the functions I lost when I replaced my Super-Dash, never paid attention to most of the non-essential ones.

My 98 P2 is being converted as we speak by William Bowden in Humble. I will have to the left of the steering wheel 3 guages in a row. trim, volts , water pressure. The gas guage is going on the side in front of the shifter and the key will be located under the shifter. William will put in a L bracket for the alarm switch and light. I think Im going to like this set up. I too was getting worried that my electronic dash was getting old although I really do like it and what it shows.GeorgeGeorge

Thanks for all the input. I definitely plan on replacing the Superdash. It still works great, but getting tired. George, put up some pics of your dash when you get your boat finished.Will update this when I decide what I will do.
