Heading to the rock Sunday for a family week and thought I would drag the boat and get a few hours in each morn before the kids get up and about. we are staying around Indian Point, Anyone got any sure fire tips or areas for a Muddy water okie!Treat everyday like it might be the last

STAY AWAY from the docks at Indian point marina. I was there about two weeks ago, and was very rudely informed that you cant fish the docks in table rock. All fishing must be done 50 feet away from all docks. The owner of the floating cafe at indian point was rude enough to tell me this after turning my numbers in to the coast guard. It was the first time there,and with no signs up stating that rule I had no clue.

The is incorrect 4doorcat, only the commercial docks are off limits. The private docks are still fishable. BCB

already pulled the braid out and dropped in the rigs I use on Norfolk, just looking for areas and such. I also new about the dock thing but had completely spaced it off, so thanks for the reminderTreat everyday like it might be the last

As BCB commented, docks are not all off limits. The commercial docks are a bit touchy about theirs, but I”ve never seen the water patrol do anything about it. Ive always respected their wishes if asked politely to leave. But, the rude ones leave a bad taste in your mouth. There are plenty of docks on Table Rock to fish. I would just stear clear of the major ones.

Vertical jig the tree tops in deep water. So you will be in 60 to 90 feet of water and the tops of the trees will be 30 feet down. Use white jigging spoons. If you take the kids out do the same thing but with live bait(worms)30 feet down on a hook. You can also get small mouth up the lake on rock points (football jig, jig and pig, carolina rig) Good Luck
