Soon to mount Talon onto port side of Detwiler jack plate on 07 Puma. No previous mounting holes exist. Do I drill into static plate or movable plate. Is there a recommended location of new drilled holes within the plate; distance from edges? If I were to guess, I would drill into static plate about in the middle of the plate itself. Thanks!
Hasnt anyone put a Talon on a 07 Puma and found a good bracket to use that doesnt involve removing the Merc? Jims a good friend and would appreciate any help out there on how best to mount his new toy so he can out fish me even worse then he does now…. I know there are a lot of new brackets out there but I have no idea where to suggest he start. This is for a 20077 Puma Advantage I believe, 250 Merc XS. This is Jims 2nd Puma.Thanks guys,Brian
