Does anyone have a picture of the mounted bracket? Do you remove the plate that says slidemaster on it?

Yes you need to remove the plate. This is installed on a 2013 P2 it

Did you need to put a jack or block of wood under the skeg when mounting the bracket to the jack plate?

No need to do that. If I remember, I removed the bottom bolt, and just loosened the top one a bit so I could rotate the black slide master plate out of the way. Then I put the new bolt in the bottom. Once that was snugged up, I removed the top bolt, took off the black plate, and put the new bolt in the top. That way there was always at least one bolt in place to prevent movement.

The large threaded bolt in the middle of the plate is what controls the raising or lowering of the engine. You loosen both sides and then turn the center bolt to raise or lower.
