Sorry about reposting, Pictures disappeared??? Can someone tell me what these are for? Is this part of the pop axle? One on each side of the trailer in front of front axle. That is in fact the pop axle component. Incidently, I would advise against leaving the inner bars in when trailering. I had one of mine come out and do major tire damage. I think it happened as a result of running over the rumble strip grovves that are cut on the edge of the highways at a high rate of speed. Here in MO, they have cut those strips right on the edge of the lane on Highway 70 (too close in my opinion).Last edited by BoBo on July 17th, 2008, 5:39 pm, edited 1 time in total.

I have no idea how this operates. Are these the inner bars? Should I just take them off? Ive pulled the pins out and havent a clue what to do with the square channels afterward. Thanks for your help. Get a 4×4 block and pull the front axle up onto that block. That will lift the axle up high enough that you can pull those pins and push those bars back and it will hold up the front axle so it will move like a single axle trailer. You do not want to be travelling with that pin pulled. Good luck and nice pictures of them by the way. Judd Lasiter

Ok, That is making sense to me. Its just for moving around at home in the garage, I take it. I have no trouble putting it in the shed without using this feature, I just wanted to know how. I took a 2×6 x 8 long and made 2 of these, bottom board is 24″, middle board is 16″ and top is 8″. I cut a 45 bevel on each end to help drive up on, then joined them with screws. They will also come in handy changing a flat tire.
