I have a question about the sale going through the dealer. I know in Arkansas if you purchase from an individual you dont have to pay sales tax on the used boat only on the trailer if its valued over a certain amount. Can this be done if the dealer handles the transaction? Also can the BCB dealer still handle the financing selling one like that?

I dont know about Arkansas but in Texas , if you are a resident , you would have to pay sale tax no matter who you buy it from. Also the dealer can do the financing as well.

Depends whether its sold as a titled boat (used) or sold as a brand new boat from dealer. I believe in Arkansas if its purchased as a titled boat (used) one only pays taxes on the trailer. If its purchased as a brand new boat through the dealer then youre probably going to pay sales taxes on all. Regardless, this is a good deal on a boat that has less than 10 hours and has plenty of upgrades such as hydraulic jack plate, power pole, 20″ rims, and upper end humminbird electronics. Those options alone are about $4-$5 K! There are other options as well. You wont be able to touch a new one rigged such as this for less than 50K!
