Has anyone heard if there will be a Texas BCB owners tournament this year? Last year it was held on Cedar Creek and I thought it was very successful. There was talk about having one this year on Conroe. Just wondering
Make it on Toledo bend or Caddo and I will be there.ElwoodElwood…..Bass Cat Proud
There was a little attempt at one down by Belton and another one on Cedar Creek. We would probably like to have a larger one within driving time of the majority of participants instead of three or four spread out across Texas. If one of the factory reps in Texas or someone from the factory could come that would be nice also. On multiple events they probably could not. Look at the drive times and figure out the best options. BCB
BCB, hopefully our “Top Dog” from last years TBCOE will be along and give us some insight to what the plans might be for this year. With 54 boats last year at Cedar Creek it far exceeded most everyones expectations and I believe we ALL had a great time. It would be nice to see someone for BCB come and join us. That door certainly is ALWAYS open. We learned a LOT from last years event (like planning for 20-30 boats and having 54 – GREAT problem but frustrating when you are not prepared with gift bags for all who participated as we had hoped to be)I feel relatively sure for us to put on something larger than what we had last year it would take involvement from several more people to make it happen as it should. For those of us who worked hard to make it happen…it was FUN…and very demanding…but well worth it.BCB our ears are open if you guys would like to offer some guidance or share some of your vision going forward. We want to be “instep” not “out of step” for the Greater Good in these tough economic times.Jmtfrisco, Texas

Mike,This is Reid Prescott…I was just wondering if the ole AR boys were allowed to make a trip down there again? Sure would love to come down and fish again!!
My Puma FTD is ordered and hopefully will be ready for pick-up by the end of Sept or first of Oct. Ill be there as long as I dont have any prior commitments. Im lookig forward to it.
Sounds fun. I vote NO on Lake Conroe. Too many non-fishing vessels causing dangerous boating conditions. Need a more pure fishing and away from big town lake. The list should include Toledo Bend, Rayburn, Cedar Creek, Fork (wouldnt that be awesome!!!), Limestone, etc…If there were 54 boats last time, I bet therell be more this time around. We need a lake big enough and with enough boat ramp space to handle all the launches and retrievals every day without causing trailer-jams.Livingston would work, too, if you could find a marina that could handle everybody.I also Vote NO on trying to hold it on any of our border lakes waaaay down south for obvious safety reasons of b@$t @rd$ trying to run off with our boats or trucks. And for our real safety as well. Dont even get me started. This thread would be in the weeds real quick. At this point, I will tentatively say I will go. If I happen to catch a fish while Im tournamintin, so much the better!Your Signature …
