Want to give a special thanks to R&R Industries for helping me out last week. R&R manufactures some of the parts/accessories that Bass Cat uses, such as the e-ladder, slidemaster jackplates and other things.Last year, the lower rung of the e-ladder broke off clean at the insertion of the base when it landed squarely on a stump. I didnt really think about trying to repair until this month, as it was something Ive never actually used, but being a large guy (although Ive lost 36 lbs this year) I began to realize Im still getting older, next month is another birthday.So I went to Lowes and Home Depot, looking for a piece that I could fit for a bottom rung. Didnt find anything of substance, so one evening I decided to email R&R and asked for ideas or help on how to repair. I received an email the next morning, gave them the info they requested and a new rung was shipped to my house last Friday. While Im not mechanically inclined, I did manage to get the old pin removed (Saturday morning coffee project=3 cups for me) and replaced the rung myself. With the right tools and basic skills its probably a 1 cup project.Its good to know that other companies promote customer service like Bass Cat is known for.
