I stopped by my dealers boat show floor space today to pay a visit in Birmingham, AL. Scott at Brechs marine shared with me the bad news good news with my delivered BassCat Sabre. I am scheduled to pick it up on Thursday at Brechs Marine. The bad news, Scott informed me that one of the fiberglass single axle fender flares was damaged during transit (chipped by flying rocks from the highway). He said he was going to order a replacement on Monday but did not expect delivery by the time I pick up my boat. Although, initially, I was a bit disappointed the good news is that it Scott assured me the boat looks great and that he and BassCat would take care of damaged fender flare immediately in a fair and timely manner. I appreciate his honesty being upfront and forthright so I would not be surprised and disappointed this coming Thursday. I am cool with that because I have read so many times how BassCats stands behind their product when things happen outside their control. I just wanted to share how Scott was upfront with me in advance so I would be prepared this coming Thursday. I talked with BassCats national sales manager this weekend (forgot his name) but he was so nice and informative. He made me feel very good about the full lines of BassCat boats. He proudly stated how the full line from the Puma to the Sabre had the same care and attention to detail and quality. I was so impressed. I took in all the Boats in the show and IMHO the BassCat was the show stealer to me regarding bass boats. What an impressive set of features. I am completely satsified with my BassCat purchase experience. misr12
