What most people do not understand on the console and windscreen, till they actually use it, is the massive console that is in place or previous windscreen views. The console is large and you look over the wheel at gauges and LCR. Thus the windscreen is just the right size to see over or around it. The normal windscreens we have used for years would be sticking well up into the view on this boat. Also the console covers the should area on most men or medium to large sizes. Thus the windscreen is smaller and while be totally different in concept, works fairly well for the mission. It could have been larger, though the face design would have been blocky and less flowing. Everyone who sits behind it has a totally different understanding of the console. Some still have comment about the face, though understand why once they sit behind it.
