Topic: The fit of my new aqualon cover??

The cover was delivered today. How tight is the Aqualon cover supposed to fit? My trolling motor overhangs the bow about 3 inches and if I fit the cover over the bow and the trolling motor I can just barely get the rear corners covered. Like the winch strap just gets over. Its really almost a two man job. If I put the cover on the trolling motor overhang and leave the bow point uncovered I gain a little on the back, probably ease of fit more than much in inches. What I would call the pocket for the windshield is about 2 inches forward of the windshield.The impression is it just seems to be short about 3 inches. WIll it strecth over time?Id try it for a short trip but Im leaving in the morning for Canada. I dont want a 1200 mile test ride only to rip the cover.I should add its on a 1994 pantera 2.

There could be some variance on a 1994 model cover as these are not the new Strapless version in most cases. The strapless version should work fine, though Aurora prefers not to chance it. Fit it up one time and let it stretch out, then it should be fit and set up the first time stretched. After that it should be easier.

That trip will break it in. My aurora cover did the same thing until I took it on a good trip.

My first trip was 8 hours to Falcon. We had to stop and tighten the cover every couple hours on the way there. Didnt tighten but once on the way home.

You were right. It stretched out and fit much better
