I saw a comment from BCB some months ago. Something about the PIV model to expire. When is this set to happen? If it does will a newer PIV be replacing it, or a new design similar? I owned a 2012 and really enjoyed it. I miss it a lot. I sold it due to financial/job problems last summer. Also it being a tandem trailer it was just to hard getting it in and out of my small garage. I bought it off the showroom floor so a single wasnt a option. I didnt even know a single axel trailer was an option. I saw one on the boats by serial # facebook page last year. Had a Eyra on single also. The size and layout of the PIV is great. Massive rear storage as well. I currently own a non BCB product and like it. Still it isnt a Basscat and I can now realize how well the boats are made. I understand all boats will have issues and + and – . You live and learn. In the future I can see myself in a new p2 or p4 or whatever product bcb has in a 19 foot platform. The quality is there. I have owned 4 new boats in the last 6 years. All major brands. I almost bought a L brand right down the road. I am so glad that didnt work out. I learned that boat isnt what it appears to be. I had insight info on those boats. Anyway!! Only one is close to BCB and it really isnt close. PS::: BCB has the best dang trailer period!!!!!!God blessLast edited by jbizkit3000 on May 22nd, 2014, 4:59 pm, edited 4 times in total.
I would say if something was to happen no one will know until the dealer meeting in August. No one is going to let the cat out of the bag any earlier. My guess nothing with the PIV will change but who knows…
I understand about not letting the cat out of the bag. BCB just know you build a fine product and the PIV is a fantastic boat. Also Rick I am sorry for the attitude I took with you the few times we spoke. My expectations were set to high because I had wanted a Basscat since I was 14.
There are no introductions or announcements for the Pantera IV, at this time they have not released any knowledge of 2015 and they are still working diligently on product. There are some production plans and equipment and thats about all anyone has said. We will forward the comments on and you may hear back from him. Thank you,BCB
I hope it stays in the line up too. When I can afford to upgrade, the PIV is what I want.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods

I sold my last boat 6 years ago. Got married and have a 1 year old now. I am almost to the point of getting into another boat and have been looking alot at the P4s. I too hope they stick around. Tight Lines and Good Fishinghttp://www.demonrods.com/

Edited out of concern for all parties and board ethics. BCBLast edited by Hooter on May 24th, 2014, 5:31 am, edited 1 time in total.
I had the first model when they first came out and sold my p3 to get one. Nice boat. Be nice with the same light bar and side like cougar ftd or Erya. After riding in a cougar ftd I really like the cougar ftd layout and deck better. If a new version came out though on the p4 id look at it hard though. I like 19 ft boats.
