I guess this question would be specific to BCB. I read in a different thread about long term ownership and the aging Eyra design. What is the future plan? It seems this year has been excellent on Eyra orders? In my area, the Eyra and Pantera II are most popular.Inquiring minds would like to know.
I personally do not think the Eyra will be going anywhere for some time. This is one of the newer designs. I think it was first released in 2010-2012? It is an amazing hull. It is a perfect fit for some people. And I think its the best rough water hull other than the Jag (of course noone knows about the Lynx). I currrently own a 16 Cougar FTD and if I ordered another boat tomorrow it would be the Eyra. I dont think this model is going anywhere for some time.
The Eyra is eventually going to be in a redesign phase strictly due to age. We dont know what changes or when, though the new Premium lines will be seeking simile and we dont know where that leaves some models.
Thanks for the info BCB. Whatever yall do, dont lose the side air intakes!! I can see updating certain areas. Consoles (Lynx), New handrail (Lynx), Cooler..etc.The Eyra cosmetically is in a league of its own.

Just sayin.
