CUrrently in a 1999 Skeeter ZX202C and thinking about either a Bass Cat Boat, Pheonix Boat, or Newer Skeeter. I have toured the Skeeter facility in Kilgore, TX and would like to do the same with Bass Cat. Tjose of you that have toured the factory, when was the best time of the week to go? Did you have to schedule and appointment for a tour?Thanks,Tom

Some one should chime in if not just call. Its a great tour and Im on my 7th boat with them & have loved every one of them.

Just about anytime during the week but keep in mind lunch times and quitting time,,,,,, mid morning or mid afternoon are probably best, and it does help to call ahead.If you were the least impressed with the E Texas plant you will go nuts over the BCB plant ! Totally different culture of boat builders,,,,, totally different lifestyle. These guys and gals can make a silk purse outta a sows ear !Better go ahead and get a dealer lined up for your order,,,,,,

BCB has also posted some videos of the construction process that are fun to watch. Also on a current thread is pictures of Dans (MeanV) PII being built. You will see the hand built process to get an idea of what you will see at the factory. BTW – You wont find better customer service anywhere and these things are fast plus fish well. I have owned each of the boats you mentioned. Went from a Skeeter to a Pheonix and now in a BassCat Puma FTD. Wont own anything else but a BassCat going forwards for what it is worth. You will not be disappointed in a Cat.

I went from Ranger to Skeeter to Puma FTD. Nothing but a Cat from now on. Daylight and dark difference for me

I toured the R plant and then the BCB plant before buying my first glass Bass boat. I am glad I did it made my choice of a boat very easy. I will be picking up my 2nd Bass Cat from Sherm at Sherms Marine soon. He is a dealer extraordinaire. He does things right and gives you the Best deal possible. I am not sure what else you could ask from a dealer. It wouldnt matter to me where I lived in the country I would be contacting Sherm when I was ready for another Bass Cat.Dan

I moved out of a Skeeter TZX190 a year ago and love my Cat! If I was in the market for a new boat I would go to the factory and meet the folks that will be supporting you after your purchase and you will be convinced as to where you want to be. Good luck and enjoy the trip!Tom

Tom you should be able to get a BCB plant tour anytime during normal business hours M-F..
