What do you guys think. Anyone have any experience with this wheel? Seems I’ve heard some good reports on bigger boats like the Jag with this one and would love to run one on my Eyra just to see what it would do. Feel free to share your thoughts.

I am running Rev 4 25 pitch on my Jag with a 350 verado. It carries the boat better but is a couple mph slower than the fury props. Basically it is a 4 blade tempest. For my fishing application it is the best prop. On an Eyra I’d think the fury is your best bet unless you really fish heavy.

Thank you for the reply speck. I have a 24″, 25″, 26″ fury 3 blade and they do well for me but I’m always willing to experiment. I have to admit though that I’m not looking to scrub any speed. I am already sacrificing speed for hole shot running the smaller props the majority of the time for the areas that I fish.

The original i6 Verado in any configuration, today it’s 350/400, is nothing like any other engine on a boat. You can not compare it’s operation and propeller selection to any other engine. The Rev 4 from our testing does not belong on a BCB model. The Bravo does as do others. The Rev 4 we do use on some limited Yar-Craft applications.

Thank you for the response BCB. It will save me some time and money. I keep telling myself to just leave it alone but I can’t help but tinker a little. May look into a Bravo. I have run a bravo but it was one modified for a bullet and I was not impressed with it on my setup.
