Joe Joslin gives a very good and detailed report on http://www.toledo-bend.com. At the top of the page roll your cursor over “Toledo Bend Lake” and on the drop down menu pick the “Fishing Reports”. Joe fishes the south end of the lake primarily and updates frequently. There are other reports but a couple are from back in January. I had heard that during a couple of our warm spells, there were some being caught on spinnerbaits. I like shallow water myself and even with the rain, cold, and dingy water I know there are some shallow. Just have to put your head down and give them a shot. Like bass1958 said, I throw chatterbaits a lot and also shallow crankbaits. If nothing happens with that I guess youll have to slow down with a jig or move out deeper with a Carolina rig and/or jig on some points or creek bends. Wish I could help a lot more but I havent been able to get on the water much.
