We like 80 to 90 on the transom and 95-100 on the engine to plate. There are numerous opinions on this and. BCB transom is not going to crush like most brands. Basically if you just tighten them up tight then your good. These are not milled surfaces and the varying planes and contact points change specs all over the map. Then we have the actual transom in play and that can move things again, let alone internal faces and compression of the 1/2″ aluminum plates inside the bilge area.Last edited by Bass Cat Boats on May 9th, 2017, 1:27 pm, edited 1 time in total.
