Topic: TOUCH PAD NOT WORKING???

I walked out to my boat yesterday and the bilge was running and the master power was off. I could not get the bilge to turn off so I unhooked the negative side of the battery and hooked it back up in about 5 minutes. That cut the bilge pump off but now nothing on the touch pad works(horn, bilge, aerorator, lights). I checked the breakers that run off the battery cables and none of them are tripped. Could it have blown a fuse when I hooked the battery cable back up?? It did throw a little spark when I touched the cable to the battery post… If this may be the case where are the fuses, I could not find them. Any suggestions???

No, it is probably nothing to do with you and your operation. It may just be a faulty part. Run a check on the set up, disconnect and reconnect the battery, that resets the ECU. Then contact BCB Service and let them know what you have found. They will note the reset and if it does not reset then they or your dealership will address it. BCB Admin.

Ok bass cat, I unhooked the battery cables yesterday and it did not work. When I hook the battery cables back up the bilge is running on manual and will not turn off, nor will anything else on the touch pad even come on. I need some quick help I have my first trail tournament this weekend and have a boat that is 2 weeks old that will not function properly. The closest dealer is about 3 hours from me. I do not feel that I should have to take my boat to them when this happened just sitting at my house, which tells me nothing I did to the boat is operator fault. This brand new bass cat has only about 20 minutes on it and is not functioning properly. All I have heard is how great Bass Cat customer service is so lets get me going please…… Justin Harpole . I talked to Scott at bass cat and he is shipping my part out today. but would not overnight it to me… I would think after me buying a 25k boat a week ago a 20 overnight charge would not hurt them that bad??? He wanted me to pay for the overnight charge. I guess im missing something here…
