This past Saturday my son & I fished a tournament on Grand Lake in OK. About 45 minutes after tourn started I caught our first fish (5.40lbs). 2 casts later my son catches a 5.49lber. The rest of day is spent catching lots of 2 and 3lbers and he keeps giving me a hard time about how his is bigger than mine. We ended up weighing in 19.79lbs for 1st and his 5.49lber was big bass. This is the first tourn Ive worn my lucky Basscat sublinated shirt. This is the most comfortable shirt I have ever worn in a tournament. Got one on order for my son.

That is awesome. Enjoy the times together. I have experienced the same and recently even experience a club win with my 14 year old Grandson as my partner. That was GREAT!!!

What a way to start the day off! I fish a team trail with my son also. He is 7 years old and is starting his second year of tournament fishing. We havent placed in a tournament yet but getting to see him weigh in his first fish last year was pretty cool! Congrats on the win.Jason Ferbrache – Edmond, OK 1995 Basscat Eyra

Thanks guys! Dont worry BCB I wont let him cut the sleeves out and the shirt arrived today. Thanks a bunch! Hes 17 and stronger than me and almost as big. Fishok, I also started my son tournament fishing when he was six. This was also my first year to tournament fish and it takes an extreme amount of patience with the younger ones. Our 4th tournament we won big bass and placed 2nd overall. The last couple of years he has won big bass probably 5 or 6 times and 2 years ago we finished 2nd overall in our league. Last year we were 4th but we missed a tournament. The kid lives to fish. In 2 years hell be at OU and he wants/plans on fishing on their team. He doesnt know how well he has it. When we win money I pull the entry fee out and then its split 50/50. Thanks again for all the kind words.
