Just saw on the Dodge truck site that they are now offering a 1500 series P/U with a 3L Diesel. The Jeep version gets 30mpg highway and they say the P/U should be the same. It has 420 ft lbs of torque. Same as the eco but with 30mpg.I wouldnt run out and order one just yet. Would like to see a GM or Ford version first. One nice thing though. If your looking for a SUV to haul the BassCat the Jeep Grand Cherokee can be equipped with the same motor. That may be my ticket right there.I looked up my local fuel prices and diesel is going for 4.09 and 87 octane for 3.61. seems the diesel runs for 13.6 cents per mile while the eco runs for 16.4 cents. My current rig a 2001 Yukon XL 4×2 gets maybe 18 freeway so it costs 20.0 cents per mile in gas.Builder of fine Bass Fishing RodsReel Bearing and Drag upgrades.B2 Custom RodsBoca Bearings
