It seems my wife heard that story also … it seems it beats the crap out of a Tahoe tailgate if it bounces off the tailgate enough. I have had the pleasure! During a family / fishing vacation I left the boat in hotel parking lot for a long day with family. I thought I would deter thiefs by pulling pins a slightly pushing hitch off to side. Fast forward a day and a half(after really long day with family) – 4am hooking truck up for a day of fishing! Drove out of hotel and onto expressway, changed to another expressway and then through town to the lake- there were at least 10 stops and Total of about 20 miles. At the launch, I pulled up to start backing in and bang. I thought someone rear ended me and looked in my side mirror and saw the bow of boat almost touching brake lights. The next couple milliseconds went like “how did the boat end up…..oh CRAP!” I was lucky! No damage. Trailer didnt closed as smooth as it used too but nothing else. I couldnt believe it. 20 miles I drove like that!

Thats what she gets for letting OneFish drive her Tahoe !The funny part, from what i heard, was that someone thought the transmission was failing, and continued to hit the gas/brake/gas/brake,,,, until someone figured out sombodys boat was trying to pass the truck !Remind me,,,,,,,, Dont loan my boat to GWG !At least he hitched the hitch up all the way,,,,,,,,
