Has anyone got a review for the Rock Tamers mud flap system, I have a big 4 wheel drive truck with Big Lug mud tires, and to say they hold and sling rocks is a understatement, more like boulders. Also due to the size tires and the elevated height of my truck, due to a lift kit have issues with road grime if the roads are even slightly wet. Outside of a cover I was wondering what else is there out there to eliminate some of this issue.

Ive had the rock tamers on my last two trucks, they work great. Up here in Mt we have a ton of gravel roads so theyre a necessity.

Muddywaters, I had the same concerns as I had several chips on my old boat and trailer and sure didnt want any on the new Cat. No review yet, just ordered these, will test them out on road trip to Alabama in a couple of weeks. Those should do the trick are they easy to take off when not pulling boat cause I cant ride like that unless boat is behind truck lol

I I think my brother has the rock tamers for his truck. Hes got a lifted F2 50 with the big tires, and he looked at getting this after his last boat. They seem to work well.96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner

Fewell, yes, pull the pin and slide the drop right out. Losen the two set bolts and the assembly slides right off the hitch drop. I keep it connected to the drop and store it out of the way until needed. Yeah, the garage is the only place theyve been on the truck without the boat being connected.

I use the rock tamers as well. Still get a few dings on the fenders, but not a single one on the hull.
