I need help with the pins that hold the A-60 assembly in the tongue of the trailer. I am replacing the assembly and have the new one in the hole but cannot get the “C” clips open enough to get over the ends of the pins. Does anyone have a good way of getting the clips on the pins? Thanks.Troy West
TroyJust completed a full over haul on my A-60 actuator. Replaced backup solenoid (brakes were engaging in reverse on soft ground) and the master cylinder. Good set of snap ring pliers is all you need just make sure they open wide enough to slide over the end. If you run across any problems let me know. Brian
Got everything together and it works better but the brakes will not pressure up all the way. Bleed each side till all the bubbles were gone but there still must be some air in there somewhere. Anybody else have problems getting the system to pressure up?Troy West
I changed my A60 too this Spring.I went through ALOT of dot brake fluid to get all the brakes bled correctly…. I did it a couple of times. I also bled each brake in order, as the brake lines connect to all four brakes on my 06 trailer.
