The only thing that could be wrong is the caliper bolts, and the discs do sometimes drag and cause some noise.

Is this something we can check or does it need to go back to the dealer? Mine also makes a noise when doing a sharp turn, I hear it if I am sitting in the boat while someone is driving the truck to launch the boat.

Does it sound like something is loose?? It is a knocking or clunking. I notice it when someone pulls me out and parks. It is when you hit bumps or go over rough ground. I cant find everything loose.

I checked the bolts and they are tight, it must be the disk, they sure are noisey, I have had two people tell me about it at the ramp.

It could just be shackle noise. Shorter shackles help this, though they also limit travel.

Mine also makes terrible noises, and worse, I know the equalizer is hitting the frame of the trailer when going over our awful highway system. I have really lubricated the springs and eliminated a lot of the noise from the springs, but am still looking for and seeking advise to fix the equalizer issue as I am afraid that one of these times that equalizer will break and I will be stranded somewhere? Perhaps the equalizers on mine are the wrong size?

There is not a different equalizer ever we have purchased for trailers. The noise is to keep things floating on the suspension, and like mentioned you can go to shorter shackles and solve that noise. Though it will put more pressure on the suspension also. It has not ever been an issue for most, though those long haulers will have premature wear on large mileage. BCB

My 08 Puma trailer makes a lot of noise from the axle area especially when you turn, it sounds like the brakes are causing the noise. I have looked at them and they look ok. Any suggestions.
