You should be fine with the PL Premium. When I had to reconfigure my aluminum battery trays, I used PL instead of Euroflex like the factory had originally used. It is a polyurethane compound, waterproof, with very strong adhesive properties. In fact, so strong, that, the only drawback is that if you ever have to remove the fender again, you may have to some grinding.
