I need to replace the trailer tires for the single axle trailer under my 1995 Pantera II. Currently I have Goodyear Marathons P225/70R14s on the trailer and the same size Goodyear Eagle GT as a spare. The spare has never been on the ground until last Sunday coming home. It has a ding in the sidewall from the keel of the boat, so I was nervous about using it, but it made it the last 60 miles with no issues.The only tires I can locate in my area (Omaha, NE) are Maxxis 215/75R14, and I have to have those ordered. My questions are – first, will the 215/75R14s fit under my fenders? They are 1/2″ taller and 1/3 of an inch narrower than the tires I have been running. Second, and I think I already know the answer to this one, do I replace the spare while I am at it? Thanks.
