my back trailor lights keep falling out i changed the black rubber part that holds it in but it keeps falling out how can i keep it from falling out.

Is it falling out of the fender or is it falling out of the rubber grommet? If its falling out of the fender try some silicone. If it falling out of the rubber grommet it probably isnt being placed in the rubber correctly.

Hmm? It sounds like the locking lip may not be pressed in quite enough to catch the fender cut out. If that is not the issue, then it is possible your fender is cut a wee tad large. BCB

Over the years, I have had two that did that and it was just as BCB said above. Fender may be cut a little large. As Phil said above, put a little sliicone around the the opening and she will be fine. Need to change it, pop it out and put a little silicone on again. No problem.

I had that problem with my sabre. I fixed it by using contact cement. I have not had a problem since, and Ive had it on the worst highway in the country — West Memphis, AR.

My left rear did the same thing the hole was a tad to large and silicone will fix it. I lost one on the way home from a Tourny bought a new one and the thing kept falling out so I thought it had a bad grommet and to it back to swap it and the other one did the same thing so I just siliconed it in no more problems. Robbie

thanks it looks like it cut alitte to much so i will try silicone.
