Yes, just grind the bottom to a nice flat plane, not the whole surface oval, just a mounting flat as the puck is located in the center of the transducer. BCB

BCB you folks said that I can flatten the bottom of a lowrance skimmer ducer to glue down into the bilge. The question is how much to grind off? Can you give me any guide lines. PS the unit is for a 522c Thanks Irv

No you can get to it via vent hole. Use wire snake thru vent hole to pull cable to frontPete

No, remove the cowl vent to access a straighter shot to the console. We do not and would not remove the tank.
