Never heard of it! If you are seriously going to refurb that boat, I old let bcb build the transom for you then you can put it in!

Buddy did this on his last boat. Never gave him a lick of trouble. But that boat only had a 115 also. So cant for sure say how good would be with a 150 and bigger

Sorry, but ive been there and done that. BCB fully reconditioned my transom in a 90 PII when it was twelve or so years old, and in perfect condition, and it was worth the $$$$ to me then. But now, unless the boat is incredible condition wise, or had sentimental value,,,,, i think it is throwing good money after bad. Life is too short to fish outta an old boat, imho !

Yes life short basket an, but sometimes it is fulfilling to know you rebuilt something!!

Oh, I understand the fulfillment of projects, Ive worked with junk all my life ! My boat is my one luxury !
