triangle livewells ?

Got a 2015 Cougar FTD with the triangle wells…..they work great. I am not sure they are any smaller than the rectangle ones, mine are extremely deeper that my older Cat. Mine work great and have not lost a fish to this point.

Triangle wells arte brilliant. You wont miss the rectangiular ones if you make the switch.

i was just wondering if there a differences in size. up hear in the north we use are bass boats for early session walleye fishing. until bass opens in june. right now my rectangle livewells hold a limit of walleye no problem. to me the triangle looks a bit narrow for a longer fish. but for sure its deeper

Not all the 20 footers have them the puma and cougar (non ftd) models have the original livewell design and the “regular” puma maintains significant rear deck storage and bilge space design over the FTD models….something to consider. Thats actually my BCB wish list is that they would incorporate the lines (styling) of the top cap of the FTD model with the front deck width of the Puma FTD, and the rear deck space livewell and gastank configuration of the regular puma. Give the styling of the new exterior and the benefits of the orignal puma with 3 tanks and regular well with exceptional rear storage.Last edited by JSLAW on February 13th, 2016, 6:18 am, edited 1 time in total.

I dont think livewells size or performance for any perspective bass cat owners. One advantage a bass cat live well should have over others is that the water is shared between sides. If the divider is removed, it should hold the larger species that much better.
