Trim buttons on front deck not working

In my case, I hooked the wires on the “trim up” button with a rod tip and pulled them loose. As BCB stated, Id look for loose wires to the switches under the deck first. Still havent figured out a way to reconnect those little boogers. Too far to reach from inside the rod locker. Cant fit my hand in thru the TM panel to reach them.

I had the same problem. I used a round cutting disc on a dremel, and cut the hole bigger so that I could get my arm in. After cutting, double check the edge to make sure you dont leave any sharp edges. Be sure to mark outside edge of where the Trolling Motor Panel covers so that you dont cut out too much.
