The other day while getting ready the night before a tournament I left my motor a 1997 150 Merc trimmed up w/o the transom saver on and when I went out in the morning it was down in the lowered position. That evening after returning home I left the motor up and left the transom saver in place but when I went out Sunday I saw what looks like a large oil stain on the driveway. I am thinking its hydrolic fluid from the tilt trim unit and am wondering can I replace the seals or do I have to replace the unit and about how much am I looking at for cost. And is this something I should even be attemping myself?
