Trim Switch – 2013 Merc 250 Pro XS

Anybody here replaced a trim switch on a 2013 Merc 250 Pro XS and offer any advice or watch outs? This is the switch on starboard side of the motor below the cowling. Does it come out back into the motor or push out from the motor? I have not been able to find a You Tube video on it. Any help, instructions, and/or advice would be much appreciated.

I replaced mine on my 08 sure it’s the same unplug from the back push it out the front plug the new one in and snap it in it took a minute or two super easy.

Did you have maintenance done recently? Check to make sure its plugged in.

Thanks jcarmena and Sheff. It’s plugged in. Up/down works as it should from shifter, trim lever on the steering console, and the bow. Switch feels “mushy” so I’m hoping its the switch. Never changed one and when I looked at it (to make sure it was plugged in) replacing it didn’t look intuitive to me.
