Unless you plan to upgrade your Cul M Rite charger, I would stick with flooded batteries. Sams Club, Batteries Plus, and OReillys all carry the same rebadged Deka deep cycle flooded batteries at very good prices. If you upgrade to a MK or Dual Pro charger, then you would have AGM charging capability.

This has been repeated over and over on this board, weigh them and get the heaviest in your range and preference. BCB once liked Platinum Die Hard batteries, though they changed and there is no solid opinion now. They are not a fan of spiral cell batteries.

I purchased two lead acid Group 31 Duracell Batteries from Batteries Plus last year.They have been great, no problems. They were $110 each.

I went with the Duracell batteries last year as well. Theyre very solid flooded batteries.

It probably doesnt make any difference. Ive had several different brands of wet cell trolling motor batteries. Not had any complaints about any of them. I did have one Interstate battery go bad after one year and I had one Deka go bad. Just get good heavy duty deep cycles and you should be okay.

My Noco seems to charge AGMs fine. I have the Duracells from Sams Club.
